Default Panamera Wheels

Front Tires are 245/50/YR18
Rear Tires are 275/45/YR18

Will these fit my 1988 S4 without rolling my fenders?
The above tires come on take off wheels from panamera.

Thanks
Thomas

The tires will not be the issue. What size are the wheels (width and offset - usually stamped on the inside like 18x8ET55)?

245/50-18, unless that is a typo, those tires will have a too large diameter and will rub in the wheel well when you turn sharp. I had this happen with 245/40-18's in the front.

You will need new tires as those are way to big around... as noted by Dan...

So what you are saying is I can use the wheels. But I will have to purchase shorter tires. The wheels are not the ebay ones as pictured above. The wheels I am looking at are off a panamera with many more spokes.

Even if they fit it will throw your speedo way off. I think the rears we normally put on our 928's that are 18" diameter are 35 series side walls...quite a short sidewall.

Wheels will fit fine. But as others mention (which I failed to notice), the tires are wrong. 235/40r18 tirew for the front, and 275/30(or35)r18 for the rear would work fine.

I've got a set of ten-spoke Panamera wheels in the rafters awaiting spring with just those measurements and stock tires. I plan to try it out but expect to remove the tires and go with shorter sidewalls like Andrew describes.

I wish I could find the wheels for $700. My guy wants 1300.00 with the tires. I am going to try without the tires for 750.00
I also think they will look awesome on my white 928

Nice wheels! But I would do 265/35-18's for rear, rather than the 275's. Unless you have a lot more HP you don't need the extra meat in the rear, and the car will handle better without it.

The weight is about 50-50 front/rear, putting too much tire in the rear just aggravates understeer. And 265's will fit the 9" rims a bit better than 275's. But that's just my $0.02
