Used front spoiler and belly pans hardly ever pop up used, so buy them new. Fog lights are almost always pitted like hell if you get them used, so buy a new one. Get the whole high performace exhaust system from Roger including the x-pipe.

Damn I'm good at spending your money!!

Scott,

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Welcome home!

BE SURE to go to www.928oc.org and join the 928 owners club too! There is some GREAT stuff happening there right now. In time I hope it will be THE GO TO PLACE for all things 928...afterall it IS the 928 Owners Club and thus SHOULD BE the go to place!

Car looks great... on '88 S4's a Rear Muffler Bypass (RMB) is all you need to make that car sound SUPER SWEET!!!

Welcome to the shark tank, great looking car. Add one thing to your list and it probably needs to go to the top of the list. Change the fuel hoses. Roger has a kit that will cover all the critical hoses. More than one 928 has been lost to a fire because of aged cracked hoses. If original they are now 23 years old.

Thanks, all!

@ neilh: Sounds good; this place sure gets packed around that time.

@ cold_beer839: You and my wife, both!

@ mpesik: Thanks; yep, those are the original wheels. Will need to polish them at some point, though.

@ Jim M: Will do.

Scott,

Very nice looking car. I've owned two '88's, and they are very enjoyable rides. Good luck with it.

You may need to drop the exhaust pipes from the manifolds the first time you check the end play (DO IT SOON!), in order to get the back two bolts of the 6 that hold the bottom part of the bellhousing on. But, get short bolts to replace the two rear ones, then you can always take all 6 out when you do the annual check of the end play.

Echoing Jame's suggestion, we'd love to have you as a member of 928 Owners Club, and have you attend any of the various "meets" that the Owners Club helps sponsor around the country (Frenzy in the Fall, SITM in June, Sharks in Hell in the summer, etc.). Join at www.928OC.org

AND - Thank you for your service to our country.

Nice car, congrats!

Put 3rd Coast on your calendar for Nov if you can get away, great fun cruising the Texas Hill Country! That's close to Ohio, right?
