I'm not going to be able to make it, but still have some hope of driving down for TX Mile on Sunday.

A tip for the late night parking lot party, plan for the 2am munchies ahead of time!

Default Happy Hour Fri 4-7PM

One week bump. Update: Spoke with the owner of Moondog Restaurant this evening and he said he would block off plenty of seats right on the water for us for Happy Hour on Friday 4-7pm. It's only about 100 yards from The Light House Inn where most are staying. Then it's a very short stumble to Captian Benny's where I also reserved a block of seats for all for din-din. Gonna be a fun weekend. Best book your room(s) at The Light House now at: 361-790-8439. Don't forget to mention your with the Porsche OC for reduced rates. T

Car almost done. A/C blowing like a Minnesota winter per Sean. Ride leveled and new tires on today, detailing to follow soon. I'll be buying Sean his drink of choice down there. Can't wait for the drive down and the R&R on the coast. See ya soon T&T.

Looks like I screwed the pooch. Kept thinking I'd reserved a room a few months ago, at the same time I did SITM, so I called today to confirm apparently I didn't do it. They are out of rooms so if anyone needs a roomie, let me know.

If anyone headed to Rockport is interested in a pair of 4.5L US heads for free, let me know. They are and off the 79's original engine w/around 100k on them.

Never could bring myself to ship them to anyone after a disasterous shipment to another Rennlister of very heavy parts.

Bring 'em along, I might have storage space for them until someone else wants a set

Anyone interested in fishing the bay, there are four (4) boats available to take 4-5 people each out on Saturday for $500.00 per boat. Leave around sunrise ( I know that is early for some), and spend as much time on the water, half day, or full day. The crew will filet, and bag any fish caught. Everyone will need to purchase a salt water fishing license. Just checking, no affiliation to boats, or crew.
