Tremendous style.

Have fun with rest of weekend.
In pictures it's fantastic. I'll bet it's even better in person. Very nice look, and it suits the body lines perfectly.

Have fun, and stay safe.

Really really beautiful. I am curious to know/see what you did for the headliner in the sunroof delete.

Thanks guys. Roger was nice enough to donate a headliner from a sunroofless OB, then had Paul C wrapped it in leather. I'll post some more pics soon at: 94 928 GTS Repaint & Delete. Texas Mile tomorrow. T

Default More pics

Stopped off at Randy's Ranch on the way up to The Texas Mile. Sean & Roger were geting Randy's 2 GTS's up to speed. Barb & Rosie were caught hamming it up. (Sorry for a few of the foggy pics). Fun watching Ed, his son, and others making some high speed passes. Met up with Don Carter from Houston and had a great weekend. Some other cool cars at the event including the Ferrari 430 below. T

Great time and great folks to share it with. Thanks to all (T&T especially), 928 Owners club, 928sRus for the sponsorship of the event. Hotel was really nice and Rockport was a nice relaxing get-a-way.

Until the next time gang.

Cheers!

Alex – Ditto! Great meeting you and everyone else. Great time, great food, great people. Sean’s Torque Tube R&R tech. session in the hotel parking lot was incredible.

Thanks Tony for putting it together; loved the hotel--and, your car looks great!

And Laura - If you made the T-shirts, they were great too--thank you! My wife thought it was cool to have a bunch of us wearing 'em Saturday at the Mile.

Thanks again, Bruce and Teresa

Awesome GTG and many thanks to T+T for hosting the event, 928OC for sponsoring the T shirts and Laura for designing them and making sure they were ready for me on Thursday.

We were surrounded by cops on the way down - where are the pictures????

Sean got pulled over for not using his flasher - when we told the nice Policeman he was a flasher by trade he let him go 8>).

Drove Randy's SC GTS back to DFW - have one word - Boooooooost.

The Hotel was great - how about this for a coincidence. The owner of the “Lighthouse” where we stayed owns another Hotel – the “Hampton Inn” in Marble Falls – he only owns two hotels.

The hospitality at Randy's place was awesome - Steaks were perfect - thanks buddy.

I had a great time. Best of all it was finished off with NO incidents, No accidents and NO tickets. Thanks to all who helped pull this off. The hotel was great, walk out of the patio door of the room and 50 feet away you were at the water's edge, with a pier going out another 75 feet into the bay.

For some reason Roger was fascinated with the vases behind him.
Good food, good friends and good cars, what more could you ask for?

Ed MD and his son finished the Texas mile with a 153 MPH run, the fastest 928 they had on record. Next year the class record!

Speaking of Texas Mile, any of you witness this while you were there?

That happened a couple of hours before we got there Saturday, glad we were not there for it because it would have been 3 boring as hell hours waiting for them to run again.

Great weekend and a huge thanks to Tony and his wife for setting everything up and a huge thank you to Randy for putting us up for the night and cooking us some kick *** steaks.

The driver was taken to the hospital. Have not heard if he is all ok. I do hope he is. Crashes are never good. The side of the whole car was taken off.

Just want to say Thanks for all the support. It was good to see everyone that showed up. They have retired all track records for Goliad, because the Navy has taken over that facility. The next Texas Mile is at Beeville, Texas (essentially the same area). So I plan on being there again next year to attempt another try at the Land Speed Record, and the (new) track record for 928's at Beeville!
Thanks from all of Us/Team 928.

Ed,

It was good to meet you and your team. Great to have a 928 running the TX Mile and glad to hear you will be back.

Here's some shots I got at TX Mile on Sunday.

From the pictures it looks like a lot less people there Sunday than on Saturday. Was that the case??
