I can't help but think this has already been posted but I'm too f'n lazy to read the whole damn rag.
The Navy is using eminent domain to take back the Goliad Airport. Goliad County wants more $ but can't find an attorney dumb enough to represent them. Thats gotta be a first.
In any case, I am betting this or the fall event will be the last of the Texas Mile.

The top contendors are having trouble stopping so any record breaking will have to be done elsewhere.
We've been over 270 unofficially and are planning to put the record higher than that within the year.

Well, I just got the OK from the boss. After SeanR fixes the A/C, I get new tires and alignment next week we will be ready to go. I'll see if the hotel still has rooms tonight and if I'm lucky I won't be staying in the janitor's closet....If so I'll dress appropriately.

Looks like me and the family are out. Camping at Caddo Lake, Lake Arrowhead, and Caprock Canyon all in the next two weeks for my kiddo's spring breaks....maybe next year.....

Just made my reservation. They officially have three rooms left for that weekend so.....if you want a place to lay yo head, best make that reservation.

Alex, I never drove down this way from the DFW area, but Herman K has several times, and he and Barb are coming down. Also check with Sean, Roger, finally! etc, they will be coming down and are from the DFW area. T
