Default 1984 "Barn Find" 5500 Miles

Not really a barn, but sounds like the car has been in storage for 20 years.

I have no affiliation w this car, just saw this ad and it SOUNDED like it could be another one of those "RARE" finds!!! Kind of like the M&M Blue car (Blue 82) that Morrison owns. Hope a good caretaker here gets her!!

From latest issue of Panorama. (Usually Worthless if you are a 928 owner!)

Here's what the add said:
For Sale
1984 928S Coupe
Chiffon white/chocolate. 1 owner only 5500 miles
In storage the last 20 years.
Bought this car new from Porsche Dealer in Riverside CA
Never seen Rain or Snow
Never been out of SoCal
Make offer

Chiffon white and brown is a great color combo!
I hope to read more on this car. I'm not going to email because it would be only curiosity - 5 speed, price ?

Jim,
Ad didn't mention 5 speed vs Auto. Add did not list $$$, only said "Make Offer"
I called the # listed, but the mailbox there was full.

Did it list a price?

I used to own a Chiffon white/Chocolate '82. I miss that car.

These are pics of MY old car, NOT the car listed in teh OP.

Wow Andrew, that was one sweet looking car. I don't like white cars much, but the 928 seems to be able to wear it well.

What type of wheels did you have on this car...? Are those 17s or 18s...?

I am debating 17 vs 18 on my 84-- I like the way these look

Damn, I 'd rather have AO's old '82 car than the '84 5500-mile car listed in the OP.

Damn you Andrew. I love my triple black 928 but you had to go screw it up by showing me that car didn't you.
