Default 1989 928 GT with just 311 original miles! [03/09/06 - NEW pictures added]

This is almost to hard to believe. I plan on going to see this car next week. It is a one owner 1989 GT in Forrest Green Metallic with Cashmere interior including sport seats. This thing belongs in a museum as a tribute to the 928! Road Scholars in Raleigh, NC has the car. Kevin sent me an email a couple weeks ago letting me know they were getting this beauty in. Wish I could afford to put it next to the frog but I doubt the wife would go for another low mileage 928 we would not drive.....

It would be in good visible condition, but what about if you actually wanted to drive it? Would the engine still be roadworthy?

Wow, delivery miles on a 17 year old car! Is there a story behind it?

Why would the engine not be roadworthy? It is brand new!

Chuck
WOW....that is really sweet! Is it on the registry? I wonder what the price will be? Its gotta be steep! The bummer is its a 311 mile car, so you won't want to drive it anywhere at all...plus it will take quite a bit of time and $$$$ to get it up to driving specs anyway...imagine what the inside of the gas tank looks like...or the radiator?

This would be perfect for your collection...but I'm sure wilhoit will want it too!

Un-Friggin-Believable!

Chuck, I think the frog needs a younger brother...

I figured just the smell of a green car would get rixter's attention.

Whoever goes to look, please post some pics!

Possible video? or lots of pics??

What an incredible find! Sports seats in a GT, that is sweet. The interior colors look great and the carpet WOW. It would be beter to see it in the sun though.

Change the TB

The interior must smell great with like new leather and carpet.

Pics of the different stickers on door jam, engine parts, spare tire, and build code sheet under carpet might help people.

I'm afraid I have a completely different take on the car.
What a waste!

That's not even enough miles to have taken the car to shows! What is the history? What is the price?
