What does not work on your car?
#77
Cruise control
Hatch release
Temp selector is either full cold or full hot (fixes itself sometimes)
Sporadic magic blower syndrome
Intensive washers
Headlight washers
Brake pad sensors disabled
Now needs A/C hoses and recharge since I jacked up the engine for the motor mount job and flexed the hose and leaked all my refrigerant into the garage

Headlamp washers,
anti-lock brakes,
air conditioning,
oil preasure gauge
...all inop, but everything else works beautifully. Drove the care to work work today with 4 inches of snow and 14 degrees temp. here in Indianapolis.

My power mirrors do not work. I replaced the mirrors on my 1980 Euro S with GTS style mirrors. the changes in wiring fron an early car to a GTS are quite significant. So not only do they not work, I actually disabled them. Since I am the only one that ever drives the car it is not a real problem. Sometime I will get to rewiring the car for the late mirrors but given the choice between rewiring and driving the car driving wins out.

vaccuum check valve (to be replaced soon)
intake temp sensor (causes my fans to keep running)
intensive washer system (it has never had fluid in it as long as I have had it, so it may work)
Headlight washers (thought they didn't work...but after a re-read of the owners manual I learned that they worked and I was stupid)
Other than that it all works.

Oh yeah, one more thing...
the blinking door lock post on the drivers side. The post itself works, but whatever it screws into doesn't work on that side. The passenger side works fine. Anybody ever had to work on these?

A/C and all climate control - except the "magic blower"
defrost/demist
rear wiper
air pump (now removed)
all the washers
cruise control
pod lights
odometer
speedo (but only on cold mornings)
drivers side seat controls
drivers window
brake pad sensors
radio only works when the POS alarm feels like listening to it
fuel tank leaks
Pulled the tank out yesterday for repairs.
The aftermarket alarm removal is next on my list...

1.windsheild washer leaks out of r front fender, need to order that metal y part, but the 'intensive' one squirts???
2. cruise control still back to varying every 20 seconds or so, by about 4 mph. Think it's the vacuum lines.
3. Sunroof. Won't use it anyway though.
4. Hatch remote release.
5. A/C; stopped working when the alternator was broken off and dragged under the car, so it's in the wiring somewhere. Heat works, so the a/c can wait till spring.
6. Shocks, rear ones are a little 'bouncy'; got new ones off ebay, but it's a bit cold to work on them right now (no garage).
What does work? Lights, engine, trans, seat heater, brakes, radio. The basics.

broken parts...
-Not working:
Cruise control (who needs it)
Air conditioning (southern california, not needed)
odometer (who cares)
The 4th gear (transmission)- I will fix this someday, but it still drives great for a 26 year old car

Burning Brakes
Not much. It is easier to say what does work; the engine, clutch, all gears are there after warming up, tires move and I can stop it with the middle pedal, the parking brake thank god also, but that is about it.
Everything else? Well I am busy for the next year. Should have joined this site before purchase but I am a dumbass. A car that is smogged for 3K and good interior is okay. Love/Hate relationship. Sort of like a marriage.
