This most likely is not the cause of Ducman's clunk noise, but since we're in this discussion about rear suspension, I thought I would mention this. When I replaced the rear camber bushings, I decided that it would be little more effort to replace the rear upper control arm bushings while I was at it. The first problem was availability of the upper arm bushings. Roger was able to locate two new ones. Porsche dealers could find none for me. I decided to replace the upper a-arm bushings closest to the hubs, because they seemed the most weathered. When the shop pressed out the pair of bushings, it became obvious that the a-arm aluminum That meets with the bushings was oxidized to an extent that additional bushing movement was allowed, although this wasn't visible to inspection until the bushings were removed. 928 Intl sent me two used "west coast " complete rear upper a-arms that I installed. The rear camber (which was hopelessly negative before) now aligned with the camber eccentrics in the middle of their range. I can't see how worn bushings in this situation would result in a clunking noise, but I can see how this would promote a range if motion where none should be (in addition to wear).

i would get a paint marker, and go under the car and tighten all the bolts to spec, and mark it. that way you know for sure everything i ok.

Well I found my issue. Turned put to be right front shock. From driving position it sounded rear. But I had someone else drive and I listened from passenger side. Very clear it was front. Rebuilt the front end and its gone.

Came across these, I'm familiar with the brand from Holden/GTO applications. Can't comment on this application.

I realize you were looking for factory/equivalents, just filling out the field a little.
