From your previous post:

"I come here in hope of learning something new about 928s. Occasionally, I get that satisfaction." Did I interpret this wrong?

Seems like a far stretch for a preferred interpretation.

For those who do remember, maybe you can explain it to EspritS4s. Apparently he has a little comprehension problem, and I really don't have the amount of patience that it would probably take to get him to understand. Maybe posts that don't contain "a-hole" or "*******" seem incomplete or difficult to understand for him, since he seems to be so used to them.

It reminded me of the AMC Pacer, bubble butt. I just don't see how one could spend $100k+ on that. Is it a mini van? Is it a sports car?

I sure would like to see what the guys on Top Gear would have to say about it, they would have a field day.

Well, I guess I owe you an apology on this one as I've misquoted you. I can admit when I'm wrong. That doesn't change my thoughts on your posts in this thread though. As for insulting my intelligence, you are way out of your league. I guess this is devolving into personal insults, so I'll stop before I get myself in trouble with the moderators.

IBTL

From an appropriate rennlist thread, thanks james

BTW, LGL, that's a pretty interesting car you've ended up with.
Stellar custom paint and interior.
Am in Richmond / can do that TB if you deem it needed, your garage or mine.

That changes my perspective on this also, a timing belt that was last changed in 2002 is in no way ready and up to date.

If that belt has been in 8 years, and we really do not know the mileage at this point, then this is a car that does not need to be driven until it gets a T-belt service.

LGL, if you need help or tools to do the timing belt, we will help you, i have all the tools and am willing to lend them to you if needed them for a week or so.

This really does change things IMHO.

Go to the first post and select Edit, then go advanced and you can lock it up there.

I personally do not think you should after the t-belt disclosure, but your choice.

Top right side of the block of posts I think is a pull down menu called Thread Tools, you want lock.

Ditto. The ad did say "New battery, fresh timing belt, water pump, new steering rack, plugs, wires, caps." I feel that the seller needs to answer the question as it makes a huge difference if the buyer needs to sink another $2k.
