Did I Buy the Wrong 928 From a Rennlister ?

From your previous post:
"I come here in hope of learning something new about 928s. Occasionally, I get that satisfaction." Did I interpret this wrong?

When did I stake the claim of knowing all that there is to know about 928s? You must have read over the portion where I said I come here in hope of learning something new. You're right about the difference in content of course. At least that "content" doesn't contain 75% bickering. Makes life as a moderator very easy.

Ok Pacer boy.
For those that don't remember, this poster is apparently a pacer fan (over the 928). Why are you here?
"I'd say that the Pacer looks a good bit better."

Hi Everyone,
I have seen a few Panamera's on A1A out here in Ponte Vedra Beach, and they looked fine, moving. But I have never seen up up close until the other night.
I was out at Ruth Chris and the valet guy parked my 928 next to a Panamera. When I came out to pick up my car, I got a good look at the Panamera and it looks like the backend of a school bus stuck on a Porsche front end, yuck....
It reminded me of the AMC Pacer, bubble butt. I just don't see how one could spend $100k+ on that. Is it a mini van? Is it a sports car?
I sure would like to see what the guys on Top Gear would have to say about it, they would have a field day.
Joe

Well, I guess I owe you an apology on this one as I've misquoted you. I can admit when I'm wrong. That doesn't change my thoughts on your posts in this thread though. As for insulting my intelligence, you are way out of your league. I guess this is devolving into personal insults, so I'll stop before I get myself in trouble with the moderators.
For those who do remember, maybe you can explain it to EspritS4s. Apparently he has a little comprehension problem, and I really don't have the amount of patience that it would probably take to get him to understand. Maybe posts that don't contain "a-hole" or "*******" seem incomplete or difficult to understand for him, since he seems to be so used to them.

Seems heck funny to me- Popcorn entertainment.(symbol)
- Did you know, that 27% of a movie audience that eats popcorn during the movie cries a lot easier than 'hardened **** heads!" It's the truth , I JUST READ IT, AND BOOKS DON'T LIE- EXCEPT 92% OF THE BIBLE!
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE WE'RE ALL SITTING IN A CIRCLE DRINKING SOMETHINK LIKE TEA-YES?

IBTL
From an appropriate rennlist thread, thanks james
BTW, LGL, that's a pretty interesting car you've ended up with.
Stellar custom paint and interior.
Am in Richmond / can do that TB if you deem it needed, your garage or mine.

If that belt has been in 8 years, and we really do not know the mileage at this point, then this is a car that does not need to be driven until it gets a T-belt service.
LGL, if you need help or tools to do the timing belt, we will help you, i have all the tools and am willing to lend them to you if needed them for a week or so.
This really does change things IMHO.

That changes my perspective on this also, a timing belt that was last changed in 2002 is in no way ready and up to date.
