Could you put that in readable English and paragraphs so I can better understand what you are trying to say please?

If you were unhappy why did you not accept my offer of full refund including return shipping.

Mark is very welcome to your "business" and I know he will look after your needs very well.

Luan, don't need to call you, I've seen the nasty e-mails and heard the nasty voice messages you've left. You stated you were going to go public and 'get roger back' but you've been sitting on it for how many weeks now? You've been in the wrong on this from the start. Don't know if it is entirely ego driven or not on your end, but trust me, it's not on this side.

You asked for parts, you got sent the parts you asked for. You realized too late that you needed more parts and didn't want to pay for them. That's what's screwed up here.

Comparing Roger to someone who takes off with your seat covers or some other thief is really uncalled for. Get over yourself.

We are sitting here in the office trying to understand where we went wrong here.

We supply what is required, requirement changes due to a missunderstanding between the customer and Vertex. Additional parts are required we supply them fast.

Customer does not want to pay for the extra parts and is unhappy - no problem - we offer full refund plus return shipping in an effort to satisfy the customer.

Customer rejects our offer and elects to keep the parts and pay for them.

We are still wrong - I do not get it Luan - sorry.
I do not think there is any way of satisfying your requirements.

Why the hell would someone go to Vertex anyways when you have very knowledeable business owners on here who can guide you with the purchase of parts needed to overhaul your motor?

After reading this thread, I will continue to conduct business with the great people at 928s'R'Us, 928 Motorsports and 928 International. My experiences with them both have made me a LIFELONG CUSTOMER.

I learned long ago that different customers have different needs. For some people its totally price driven. They don't need it quickly or any assistance so a low price is the main objective. Others want it shipped in hours plus need lots of technical assistance and guidance and do not mind paying just a bit more for that service. Luckily there are many choices now and most people can find what they need. It sure is different than when I got into the business 20 years ago.

I don't know how this is not going to get ugly. Luan, what do you think would have happened had you sent an errant order to another vendor? Say what you want about Roger, but ignoring emails is not one of his faults. Both Mark and Roger usually ship within the same day or next unless the parts are not in-stock. Whether your complaint were about Roger or Mark, they have both more than earned the benefit of the doubt. They both go far out of their way to rectify any problems.

Andy i agree, motorworks does seem to have a good reputaton. their previous work for me was very good. these scratches were present before lapping, however they seemed to "develope" more after the work was done. not assigning blame to anyone, it is what it is and just trying to find a solution. if it was mine i would probably run it

Luan,

This is Chris. You picked up the block and heads from my house.

The heads were off the motor, and the bores were easily visible. You had every opportunity to THOROUGHLY inspect the sleeves before paying for the engine.

Michael and I are not professional engine builders. You accept all responsibility for the engine after visually inspecting it YOURSELF. I know Michael has bent over backwards to make you happy with this deal, and you proceed to post this BS.

I'm sorry you aren't happy, but obviously you expect the world from people. I hope you're ready to be disappointed the rest of your life.

Don't expect any of my business for jewerly...

Default ENGINE PARTS

First of all Sean are you Roger? If not sit your rear down....I did not call Roger any name or nasty e-mails....I called Roger that i needed some parts and i am shopping for parts , can you beat their price kit and he said yes. I looked on Vertex they said on their website with the exception of an error on the 32v -s4 kit that they only listed 16 valves, but actually comes with 32 valve guides. I had e-mail Roger to inform him of Vertex e-mail stating that the kit included 32 valves-Roger never responded back, and when he did he said he was loosing money by e-mailing me back and forth and i am not worth his time. No business for you....I said what did i do wrong? Telling him that Vertex made the error and 32valves guides came with the kit? Anyhow i paid Rogers in full including extra charged for additional 16 valves-since the kit for 32valves only came with 16. I e-mailed Roger to tell him that he is wrong on charging me for additional 16 valves. So i am banned from buying from him...

Default Engine

Chris ,i posted to show the engine as it is . I posted so the engine could be either built or not to be re-build-the bs of not buying from me , i am not expecting from you or anyone on the forum- I am a perfectionist in my field and if i think its my fault i will go 1,000% and not a lame *** excuses. I won many awards for a reason! Customers come first, everything elses second. They paid my bills, as for the engine one way or another i will build from the one in the car or another. I am not faulting anyone except myself, should have taken more picts . I will do my homework more on a topic that i am not familiar with.....

All of the damage in the pictures occurred after this motor left my house. Martin is a liar. I have a message on my phone from b the day you picked bit up stating that Martin says this motor is clean. You are not a perfectionist Luan. You are a perpetual victim. Go **** yourself.

Default ENGINE

The engine is what it is, does anyone asked for money back? No. We are adults here and using nice vocabulary on me, do you feel better? Coffee table or what ever this engine will became of ,who cares. its only money and my initial in this project is to have a reliable car. I bought a new car already,so this is just a project..... Martin has nothing to do with this except helping out with the project, between the motor works and what ever inside the engine i have to accept it. (its a used engine) For the go**** yourself , i just have to have my female friends do it to me

You may be able to sell that bock to the stroker crowd, if the bores are thick you will still get some money for it. You are aiming for consistent thickness around 8 mm or more
