What exactly were they planning on patenting?

Its just cutting down the stock 32v spider a bit isn't it?

Perhaps!

I am not a mechanic just a driver so would locktite work in that environment?

They were assembled with locktite , the cam gear broke . Cutting a structure weakens it .

I believeve Brian's race car "Casper" has the Logitech cam gears, I recall seeing them when Ken Osage installed the engine. Seem to be holding up okay under race conditions if they are still installed.

And they are still here on your old car, running strong.
Porken made them, right?
Along with a 16V version of the 32VR adjustment tool.

That would be fine too, definitely cheaper not having to produce two sets of gears.

I doubt there is a shortage of 32V cam spiders.

Someone start working on this!!!

If anyone knows how much needs to be taken off a stock spider I'll have set made and tested on one of my cars.

Ok, this is all coming back to me now from past threads, wasn't the real issue finding a way to set cam timing?

Need a way of showing the cam position, again, yes.

Below is the original 16V->32V conversion tool I came up with, way back when.
Unfortunately, the notches are ±4° crank (cam degrees used in old manual), so it's not as precise as the 32V'r tool.
(Good enuf for 16Vs. )

Very cool, I remember that.

I'm on the phone with Todd right now, brainstorming ideas around this.

Well, now we are talking about the Pagani, we don't stay on topic very well
