Default 94 GTS Motor For Sale

Motor is still is the 928, has only 38,000 miles on it, and is For Sale for $ 10,000. You can come and hear it run, and also drive this 928. I can also videotape (with sound) this motor if you want to spare the trip. Timing belt was changed approx 4,000 miles ago and is good to go. If we do sell this motor, we will have it taken out for you, and you can then pick it up. I can also ship it, at your expense to you your destination. Motor is now in Rockport, TX. If this motor does sell, we will be installing a new, LS376/480 into our 928. PM me if interested. 77Tony

Motor is in Rockport, TX. If you are wondering what I am doing selling this fine, complete motor, the reason is that I will be installing either a LS3, Z06, or maybe an aluminum block, stroker, 383 stroker motor. I am asking $ 12,000 and if I don't get that, I will just keep it in the GTS. Car is now in for Paint & Bodywork and will be avalable for viewing in about 2-3 weeks. I will supply pics of this motor tomorrow. PM if you are interested. Thank you, 77Tony
Had me worried, for a minute I thought you were really going to sell it and put in a Chevy.

I think its safe that your GTS will remain Porsche powered for quite some time......your price for engine is a wee bit optimistic....by about 100%... I do think you might be able to sell it for $6k to the right buyer

I'd buy it today for $6K, but not 12K. The only car for which that engine is worth $12K is the one it's currently in....

I'll just buy your-all's dream car (they are cheap, after all) and bastardize the **** out of it right before your eyes. And you'll praise me while I do it! Any questions?

38,000 K miles, is, by my reckoning, 38 million miles. Or do you mean 38,000 Km? Either way, the price is a bit steep!

I hear ya Rob, its just terrible when people pull the engine out of a GTS and put in something else.

I'll sell the engine from my S4 for $10K. It's a bargain, really...
