Great Porsche 928 project book in PDF
Using my good friend Google i found a 22mb PDF with the complete Project 928 info in it.
What Rennlister would i be if i would not be sharing it with you guys/girls.

I love/hate the prototype variations pg. 85 & 125 front end shots not so much. The rear on pg. 86,91,110 are not so nice either. I know some of the bits are 'disguises' but boy am I glad they didn't make production. The station wagon look sucks too.

Thank you so much for posting this. Images like this is what got me hooked on car design.
This is my dream job, Im almost there, been studying ID for four years now....hopefully I'll be in a studio next spring.....
these were definitely the glory days....all done by hand, no computers.
I agree that the rear and front end was a bit too spaceship, but imagine what this looked like at the time- even the clay in the parking lot...we're used to it now, but when every single other car that ever been produced had square chrome bumpers and were no shorter than four feet tall....this design was decades ahead.
