Incidentally Guys I have some Boxster seats for sale if anyone is interested. Same rails. Essentially same seats except they have no shoulder bolsters.

Heinrich, Thank you for the lightning fast response. These 2008 GT3 seats must be the earlier version without the racing belt holes. Do you know if I need to make any modifications for the side air bags within these seats, or just do nothing ? Really like the two tone dark grey alcantara & black trim. It's going to match up nicely with the Pascha trim pieces already in the GTS. Thanks again. Tony

Tony are you sure there are bags in the seats? If so it may be impossible to do anything about that but you would save weight by tossing the bags. No way to use them.
My seats and yours look the same. No racing belt holes. However that reminds me I forgot, you will have issues with the seat belt receivers. They are not going to fit the 928. If I recall correctly I installed either old model 928 receivers or 944 or 911 ones (sorry I do not recall).

Another thing ... mine have electric backrest recline (idiotic imho) ... but the power is VERY basic and will need you to manufacture plugs from other components. Just a + and a -. Nothing complicated.

H, PM sent. These do have the electric seatback recline feature. The link below decribes how to install these seats into a 993. Scroll down this link a bit. There is a side airbag harness that says not to fool with? T https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...n-a-993-a.html

Hey Tony, Was great meeting you and Tambra at 3rd Coast. Something you might want to consider is performing a sun roof delete as I have done on my project car. It will give back almost two inches of headroom. I believe the panels are available still and not too expensive. As the reason to go with the aftermarket seats because of head clearance, this delete option might just be the thing to do.
Check out the thread on my project. There are ample pics and details -

As far as colors go, I rather think an eggplant (blackish with a dark violet hue) metallic would be an absolutely stunning color on a GTS.
Speaking of "delete options, please remember to have the side strips deleted. This will require a small bit of welding on the front fenders, doors and the front bit of the rear quarter panel to fill in the attachment holes. Many others also delete the headlight washer nozzle holes on the front bumper covers as well as the license plate holes.
There are lots of opinions on what looks good on a GTS.
