I am not only doing a top end refresh but I am pulling the engine to clean up anything in the engine bay that is hard to get at.

I lifted the hood on the car yesterday

I am pulling the engine to clean up anything in the engine bay that is hard to get at.
Increasingly I think that this should be the first PM done on almost any new 928 purchase, unless the PO had already done it. A day to pull the engine, and any routine maintenance done on the stand, with perfect access to everything. Motor mounts are a lot easier this way too...

Somehow I KNOW..if I attempted this, id end up crying beside a pile of parts and not know what to do with em.

You are SO right Rob!
It is doable for sure with the engine inside the car but it would be A LOT more easy to do it with the engine out!
I think 75% of the job is getting to the tight places bent over the fenders...
