So..tonight, I start. I'll use this thread to capture/log any gotchas that I run into that dont fit into Dwayne's synopsis of the project..but I dont anticipate anything oddball coming up at all.
And now that Roger is done with Third coast..I think I can start getting some parts orders in and back to me pretty easily now.
(the force is strong with this one)

I am not only doing a top end refresh but I am pulling the engine to clean up anything in the engine bay that is hard to get at.

Increasingly I think that this should be the first PM done on almost any new 928 purchase, unless the PO had already done it. A day to pull the engine, and any routine maintenance done on the stand, with perfect access to everything. Motor mounts are a lot easier this way too...

You are SO right Rob!
It is doable for sure with the engine inside the car but it would be A LOT more easy to do it with the engine out!
I think 75% of the job is getting to the tight places bent over the fenders...
