nah, I think it should be flush, thats why i did the nice aluminum screen on mine. If you could duct if from underneath, that would look better. Hey, but it does work, but you need a splitter to take advantage of what it can do, but the cooling of the engine after shut off is nice too.

i played with the flush idea, but i just dont have the body skills to make that happen. now if the vent was Aluminum, i could TIG weld it on, NP. I think the rivets give it a "track car" look. :-P a splitter is a nice idea. i have a new chin spoiler i need to get on this bad boy, and see how much ground clearnace i will have before i think of that. and a engine under tray as well, need to find one...

I'm not a fan of the hood vent, but you have a beautiful car.

I put some racing tape and some plastic over my hood vent for the drive home from laguna. at 70mph, it blew it up like a balloon and popped
It works, it looks good and could look great if it is done like the factories are doing it now.
