Naw, lets not take this great thread downhill. Need to start a separate valley girl thread for this.

Quick, Jim, need more "No. 6" content.

Chris, I can try but it may be difficult to distract...

Here's Bob Budd's interior sample match. The vinyl in particular looks great! ...with the texture and all.
I've had samples taken from the car and sent to Bob for final verification. Should get the front and rear seats and door inserts done by summer '11.

Karl, that's intesting. I'm not aware of any differences in gas tanks.
Folks quick on the PET, what say you?
My 78 (784) has the steal gas cap, and a gas tank out of an 88. The gas cap fits fine. The only difference, as someone noted, was how the top of the tank attaches to the car. I reused the strap, and left the tab on the tank.

Just read that entire Pano issue about the 928 and the VERY LAST paragraph is SO TELLING! How true it ended up being. SUV, 4 door, water-cooled, etc! Man were they thinking ahead...though I suspect they thought those "other" types of Porsche's would have come on MUCH sooner than they did, but they are right. Sit in a Cayenne or a PanAm and you really do KNOW you are in a Porsche...

Geneva was the user name of a con artist, who posted in OT around 2003. Initially, he claimined he lived in Monaco and had some questions about a Maserati. At some point he used the user name "Thegodfather". Then he started posting as "Geneva", and many of us fell for it - until we figured out it was the same person. The above picture is what "she" claimed to look like...

Post #388 she shows a car that supposedly looks like her Carrera 4...

Hi Nicole,
While you're in the neighborhood, so to speak...
Was it you who had that giant parts list of bit-n-pieces needed to do paint restoration?
I have it somewhere, but can't get to it.

No, that was Khaled (khalloudy). He hasn't been here in a while, but if you PM him, he'll respond.
