If the link your talking about is the first post... you're right, it's an old post with out-of-date links. Can't edit old posts anymore.

I believe it was not only for marketing purposes. All these cars had "special wish" something. This particular 928 had, after the Geneva Salon, a "special wish interior" fitted with custom Recaros, similar to the ones later used by BB but with black & white pascha/white leather and some holes in the dashboard for some kind of stereo project(s). The other special features came from being a Salon car. This 928 remained at the "factory service" until 1979 when it was finally sold...
Can you please post a photo of that 964?

Don't have it. Car is silver with red'ish leather interior IIRR. Picture has been published in some book and was possibly distributed by marketing department at the time. Interior has full exclusive leather treatment. About as much of it as in any period Porsche. It was imported into Finland when it was fairly new. Have seen it once in Helsinki. Owner uses it to drive to summer cottage and back on nice summer days.

FWIW, the Pasha is black-beige, not black-white.
Question... So what was the factory licence number?

That was the heretofore missing Holy Grail 928 car that jadz928 had in mind when he started redirecting energies towards early cars. So part of the mystery is solved now! Well, Jim, you've at least in the process you nabbed two of its older brothers, 0011 and 0017.
