What radiator for race car?

Hi Mike, sorry I missed your question earlier.

Mine is 27.5x16 and actually a FORD fitment not Chev as I said. Stock code Griff126241.
The cradle we made is sitting on the OEM rubber mounts. We just dropped a bolt right thru and pulled it up just enough to not compress the bush. So no I don't think it is any lower than stock. Being only 16 inches high it may appear lower.

Weather down here was so bad today our track was closed so no testing. We had to resort to some arm bending instead.

UPDATE!
Here's what I did:
Griffin made a custom radiator. It's 31 x 16" and has the same inlet and outlet positions and size as stock. There's also a fitting for the upper left vent line.

I like that it's the full width but slightly less tall, it's also thicker than stock.
I fabbed up some mounts which are rubber lined U-shaped pieces. The bottom ones slip on the stock rubber mounts and the top ones use the chassis mount holes. It works very well and I'm happy as a clam.
Griffin makes a nice radiator and did it quickly at a great price.
