Total off the cuff comment because I knew my price was absolute tops for an '83, figured I would never sell it. Definitely a little numb right now, not sure what I'll do next.
If you got that kind of money, use the proceeds towards an S4. Lemons, lemonade, and all that.

Don't be silly, find a nice OB cheap and have some fun!

Your car was a beautiful car, worth every penny!

Look forward to another highway cruise w/ your redhead!

Mark:

Considering condition, wheels and all you have done to the car, it sounds like 5 figures may have been a better deal for the buyer than you after all.

In case you are interested mine will be on the market again for $15k after I finish repainting the SC. You drove in mine so you know what it can do .

He definitely got a good deal considering the money I had in it, but I didn't do that badly truth be known. I also got a ton of enjoyment out of it, and I can't really put a price on that.

Yes I still had the O2 sensor disconnected, but he knew about that and I had all new intake boots and told him where I thought the intake leaks were. Also showed him how to hook it back up if he wanted, although it hurts power and makes it surge. He got a nice little pile of parts along with the car.

I was curious if you found out why it was rich, not suggesting that he might not have known about it.
Time for another 928.

You can get easy reliable 500hp (crank) from a 928 for $15k

Yeah but that $15k is on top of buying the nice car I'd want. I still prefer the S body style above everything else. Finding a really nice '85 with a timing belt failure might be ideal because then I'd do something silly like calling Mike Simard and see if he's game for another 7.0....

Mark--

call Greg Brown about Rob's (928SS) car, the s body with later stroker in it. Needs to go to a good home, you are the perfect owner for it, etc.
