Default How long for a garage to check the flex plate?

How long for a garage would it take to check and adjust the flex plate? Assuming dropping the exhaust to get at the bolts.

If you don't have an X-pipe, plan on them charging you two hours if they are checking the crank end play also. Make sure they give you the readings of both and installing a new pinch bolt.

Also a perfect time to get a P-Klamp from Roger and have the shop install it.

Maybe 2 hours. Less if they really know what they are doing.
I'd be there for the measurements & have them install a Pclamp at very least in that time, too.
(Ideally, a constantine clamp, but that's a different process, more time)

edit: lol, what sean said.

Thanks guys, I not sure I will be able to get a PKlamp in time (everything out here takes forever to arrive) to have it fitted.

Yea, two hours if none of the exhaust stuff breaks.

Whether they break or not, go for 6 new bolts where pipes meet manifold.

Have them leave the back two bolts out of the bell housing cover.

Then, I think if standard exhaust, the Pclamp install can be done next time without exhaust removal.

You might consider the "loctite fix". Go to http://members.rennlist.com/captearlg.
It does work and is cheap. All the other advise is excellent.

make sure to have them also torque the rear driveshaft pinch bolt after loosening the front one , they are usually loose and just doing the front wont make things correct
