Sterling, after reading your website on the variable cam timing that you were using from the 968, does this new cam setup still offer the variable cam timing? Or is that not a function of the actual cam shaft?
It'll be light alright. The revs on that engine will change very fast over shifts.
I think the main benefit from all those lighter components will be that you can safely rev the engine more. Where are you planning to set the redline?
Can you give us a bit more on the cam profiles, some summary stats?
What valve spring are you planning to run?
Also, when you say the engine will be "done" I assume that this means you have some sort of power curve target in your mind. What's your goal, what means being done?
