Cool Help locating a Spanner Tool

I have a '90 928s4 auto with 70k mi. with a idle problem and need to get the diagnosis codes. I am in the Atlanta area and was wondering if someone could direct me to a shop or individual that could help me. I'm suspecting that I have a defective idle actuator valve. Thanks in advance.

Greg Nettles has a complete shop is a fellow rennlister and knows the 928 like the back of his hand.
Send a PM to Blown 87. He's in Sharpsburg, GA. His shop # is 770-502-1888

Ron, Are you talking about a SCANNER tool to plug into car and pull the diagnostic codes? A spanner is what we use to beat the car into submission when it wont run correctly !

No, there are also a couple of Sharktunerish tools called a "spanner" and a "hammer". I think one of them is a Bosch tool.

As per our discussion, I would check the end play on the crank, when a automatic four valve car wont idle hot, that is the first thing I would check.
