I wonder if you could leave the pan off, plumb the pickup into a bucket of clean oil, spin it and let the return make a mess into a plastic sheet? Or even plumb a pump to the pickup and and pump a bunch of solvent/kerosene through the engine without spinning it? I guess the oil pump would act like a dam if you tried that. Pump it in through the oil filter mount?
DO NOT DO THIS!!!!! Keep all solvents out of the lubrication system. That $hit will wash things out an pool up in places where you don't want it and then it will dilute the new oil. Do what Tailpipe wrote.

Well done chaps-fingers crossed for complete success

An excellent thread and just goes to show what can be achieved on this list.

Answers my question.....was going to ask what time you guys were starting this morning.

Anything else on the board for today or tomorrow? Happy to help out.

I got home safe and sound last night. Brad is the man! No issues driving home last night and no puddles this morning.

The DFW gang rides again.
John you must be really please and smiling from ear to ear. Wish I could have been more involved than just supplying the girdle.

May have run over something that rattled around under the car and caused the damage before exiting or being removed. It's a shame.
