The pin could be made of UHMW material so it will not rattle.

What pin I choose will on how the quotes come back.
The nice pins are PRICEY!

The threaded end one with a ball or something else that has no sharp edges.

I am "edge-phobic" when it comes to car interiors... for visual and safety reasons.
