Yeah I was watching that one. That seems like a very nice price.

Wow, lots of great upgrades & options....H4 lamps, 17" Fikse Mach V, Big Reds, short shift kit, sport seats, side-strip delete. I would get rid of that rear muffler though and do something like this: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...s-of-pics.html

I saw him post him listing here, but got locked because he wasn't a member.
If I was in the market I would have jumped all over that thing and would have been bidding WAAAYYY above that price even though I still would have needed to ship across the country!
Great deal for someone!

I really had to hold back from bidding myself. The distance from here helped, but the main detriment to me bidding was owning up to the PacNW crew that I would have owned a 32V S3 928.. LOL
All the good parts on that 928 really made it a good deal.

That is Mark Robinson's old car from right here in Austin, TX and I think someone looked at that car quite some time back and said it was CRAP! They panned it on EVERY FRONT as I recall. Again IIRC that car has been on and off the market for more than a year and the guy was at $15k, then $10k and now it sells at what it MIGHT be worth which is a bit over $5.5k. If it was someone here I look forward to hearing a REAL report on it, but for those of you who missed out, I don't think you missed out on much good...

I am in the market for a 2nd 86 or a 86.5, can be manual or auto I don't really care. Would like one most of the way sorted out while I finish up my 86. If anyone has any ideas. I will repost this on it own later on. Thanks, Jack

It was me!

I intend to drive it for a while, fix it up the way it deserves to be, and resell. This one definitely won't be a parts car, unless for some reason (which I don't expect) it is like James says. I fully expect it to need a bit of work, which I am more than happy to do. This will be a quality vehicle when it leaves my shop.

Congrats. Ifit's close to as described, you got a good deal. Can't wait to see your thoughts on it.

I wouldn't say I panned it but just reported back what the seller had told me here:
