To help with that hidden bolt you could drop the entire lower bellhousing. It's held on by 6 bolts which are right there but the headers may or may not make it practical.

I was so hot and tired that I came home took a cold shower and got in bed and fought leg cramps! I will hopefully finish tomorrow.

Having a hard time with that hidden bolt! Any hints getting it all the way tight? I get it a little of the way and it stops! I have been giggling the starter to get past my bad spots. It isn't easy for a retard like me!
Did you determine that it was the starter for sure? If not, you can take the starter to any major auto parts store and they will test it for free.

Congratulations on the new job

How about those shorts!

The starter is in! A milestone for me! I went to move the car and no clutch. Went inside and was numbed. Went out again checked fluid and just pumped the clutch a bunch and she works now. Is that from the front end being up on jacks for days or do I have another pending problem?

Thanks for the help. Now I will feel better in trying something else that is small.

Thanks again Mike. Would like to see you race in

Is that the shot when he was crying and asking about Lendl, "How do you beat this guy?"

Either that or "they are too tight in here!".

It is a sign of a problem, not a pending one.

I first met Mac in 76 during the Rolex international in port Washington. I lost in the second round in the 16's and he won the 18's. He hit shoots I had never seen before and he ended up having a 1/2 keg at his house.

It was years later that I became Lendl's practice partner when he was number 1. Ivan was a machine and training was insane but no one had the raw talent like Mac. For yes he could bet anyone with no real training, just amazing talent! He liked to party. When he was 19 and 2 in
the world my friend Marie went to his apt to pick him up for practice. It was in the afternoon and he was asleep and his place looking like a 10yr olds pad. She saw a check under his bed all crumpled
up. She pulled it out and it was a 1/4 million bucks from winning the WCT Championships That was months ago, he said he was wondering where that was!

Fabio It is funny you posted! I was thinking of you and was wondering how your many projects were coming along. I was going to give you a call today to say hey.

The starter works great, always starts on the first crank. The clutch is OK, seems a little short in it's travel at times. I will pump the clutch at times at the light and I can feel it get longer, 4 to 5 pumps.

I will have to look into it, was wondering if I should try to bleed the system?

You can bleed it and it may improve for the short term but I see a rebuild in your future. Luckily the parts are cheap.

I haven't done any research yet but I am thinking the clutch itself is OK so maybe a new master is in my future?
