This is a fantastic event, and I highly encourage all those thread readers/lurkers to come out next year. This is not your average "local" event, but a true national quality event.
I cant thank Roger and Zane enough for their hospitality and for arranging this event. There are lots of other people I want to thank - Jim Mayzurk for graciously picking me up and dropping me back off at the airport, Chuck for all the late night antics (plus I understand he play a large roll in organizing the even, so a special nod for that), and of course Dan Hebert for making this one of the most memorable 928 events in too many ways to mention.
I had a great time, and definitely putting this on the schedule for next year.

More pictures
Another fun time in Marble Falls, as usual. Thanks to Chuck, Roger and the other DFW folks that helped organize the event. It was great to see everyone again, and all the new faces from out of state.
Here's a link to a large panoramic from Sunday showing 28 cars lined up.
Panoramic
I also have some video I'll try to get up to YouTube soon.

WOW! It was well worth the trip. Dee & I had a fantastic time!! Finally got to put faces with names. We've never met a better group of people, thans so much to all.
Special thanks to Dan Hebert! Dan is really one of a kind, and a ton of fun too.
We had to leave early Sunday. Drove with Kevin & his son back to Phoenix, crashed at Dee's sisters for 5 hours, and on to Vegas. Pulled in here at 10:45 am.

Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn't throw in a shot of THE HAT.

What a GREAT time, wow, and thanks.
Roger, thanks for a great event. That venue is wonderful. Fantastic twisty roads. Delicious BBQ stop. More twisty roads, a rarity around OKC. A great dinner, hard to believe the hotel puts up with those parties. And the show at the park was top notch. Thanks for your hard work putting it together.
Dan, thanks for the belt despite the horns trumping my flames.
Sean, thanks taking the time to check things out after the dreaded toothed belt service lit up on my drive back to OKC.
For those interested, I count 7 new stone chips despite the temporary bra. Think it would have been more without it though. Time to meet Dr Chip and a real bra for those trips.

Fabulous time!
I soon realized Texans are actually far nutier than Californians.
Great group. More than enough beer. Terrific weekend.
To Roger, the whole 928sRUs crew and anyone else who helped to arrange this epic event, my sincerest thanks. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, but I know a LOAD of work went into putting this together and pulling this off.
Well worth the 3500 mile trip and then some.
There are some pictures of late night events that probably should not see the light of day, but I hope they do.
P.S: Roger - I need another new front bellypan. Argh!

Made it back to Georgia last night, my car had no issues, George had a belt tension light on so he crashed on the couch last night and we took care of it this AM, he is headed out to VA.
Great event, and it was so good to meet some of you that I had never meet, only talked to or PM'ed before.
