Great hosts, great guests and great setting. Thank you 928sRus (and S4ordie Dan for the belt and buckle) for doing a spectacular job! It was nice putting faces to Avatars. Hope to see everyone next year.
Happy trails folks.

Alex-

P.S. Incriminating video to be posted soon.

Made it home to VA at about 10PM last night. Many thanks to Zane and Roger for hosting, to Dan for the buckles/belts... what a great momento, and all the new folks I met (and for the 2nd place People's Choice award). I can honestly say it was well worth the 3200 extra miles on the odo.

As Greg described in post #674, I got a TB warning somewhere in LA, so he was kind enough to offer his services to check it out and tighten things up for the remaining 650 miles of the trip, in addition to a place to crash while the car cooled off overnight. By the time we got to the shop in the morning, his mech Mike had things opened up and ready to check out.

So, I'd like to publicly thank Greg for his assistance and generosity - many thanks again, Greg.

This is a perfect example of what this group is all about.

Looking forward to the next gathering.

Cheers,
George

George, it was my pleasure, I had a blast talking airplanes and other stuff with you.

Couple more pics. Took me a while to find my camera... turns out it was folded up in my tent (that was quickly stowed after those Texas sum-bitches tried to roll me into the weeds inside it. There were some muffin-bits and grass in there too. F*ckers!)

I wonder if you will always be known in the 928 crowd from now on as "Muffin"?

Muffin almost went for a roll in the hay. Erik you were a better sport than I would have been.

OK, I have dumped several HD videos on YouTube for your enjoyment. You can either search for Third Coast, 928 in You Tube or start at this FIRST video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t34Ymqha4E for the first one. Please forgive me since the camera shakes a little. Too much coffee, donuts, anticipation and shock over SeanR's recent announcment...

Cheers to ya all,

Alex-

P.S. The video is raw and unedited. So, look at it as the "Director's Cut".....
