THIRD COAST - 10th Anniversary GTG – Mark your Calendars please

When I first tore into the intake this afternoon, it looked much worse than it ended up being. I have everything off, but I need to get things cleaned by Tuesday night when I leave out of town again. Back Friday night, then hopefully read to reassemble next weekend. I'm hoping to have it back on the road by next Sunday, so I can run it through a quick state inspection on Monday.
I'm going to be wrenching all day Saturday so I can get things done. I can always use another set of hands [and eyes to make sure I don't do anything stupid.]

Hi all,
I've been out of touch for several months with heart surgery and R&R but plan on attending on a daily drive-down-from-Austin basis as I can. And since I had to promise the doctors that after my discharge I wouldn't turn any wrenches for three months the 928 stays in the garage for now and I'll be driving the GTi.
So I don't have to re-read 12 pages of posts is there a day-to-day schedule yet?
Thanks,
Don

Also, plan a little extra time on Sunday to stop by my place on your way home. I know we have about six or seven folks stopping by now and I'd love to have more of you come by!
We want you to attend too, even if it's only for part of the GTG.

Jim,
If you look back you will see...
It is my alma mater's homecoming weekend and the 100th anniversary of my fraternity on the campus. There will be more of my brothers back for this weekend than I have probably seen since graduation, so I really don't want to miss them! That goes through Sunday lunch time-ish.
You guys will be having lunch in Marble Falls and thus heading my way some time after that, leaving me plenty of time to get home and be ready for the gang!
BTW, I have made the last three 3rd Coasts (if I am counting right) and was not a member here prior to that and didn't even know about them...so I claim the 5th for the ones 3 years ago and further back!
BTW, I LOVE the event and HATE to miss it! I especially love the Friday night dinner and parking lot shuffle!

I think I would end up getting sued by Wrangler if I dared to put on a pair of their jeans... besides, they don't make jeans for people whose *** has its own zip code.
