Sucks I have to miss this. Is Senior night for my son and last home football game before playoffs. Mike missed you at the SLC game? We are currently #3.

Hans, no Oberon from bells. Best Wheat Ale in the country! Spent my share of time in K-Zoo during college.

I have been following the Coppell Cowboys closely this year since my other boys are letting me down!! You guys are kicking *** and taking names. Tyler's been blowing them up big time. Two touchdown catches last week I think.

You really should try and find a way to come down on Saturday. You could easily meet up with us for lunch in Johnson City. There is another hotel right across the lake (La Quinta) that will have rooms available so that you can stay Saturday night. I have a new cell number that I will PM you.

I'm leaving earlier than you guys b/c i've got stuff to do before our guests start arriving at the hotel. I couldn't keep up with yall anyway in my Expo.

On Saturday me and my girlfriend Dana (who is single and lives in the Houston area...) will be going on a winery tour when the Fun Run group takes off. We will be meeting up with the Fun Run at their pit stops. If anyone is interested in joining or riding with - just let me know between now and Saturday morn.

I'm bringing:
1. Hornitos Tequila
2. Limes
4. Boots
5. Hat

"Boots and Buckles" Dinner Saturday night! I Cannot wait to see the Third Coast Buckles. Dan is the Man!

Can't wait to see who wins that 928 Watch at Dinner.

Donald,

Took me a few minutes, but now I get it, awesome game. Who would have thought we had two great quarterbacks. Unfortuanately we had to listen on the internet. Maybe the next few will be televised.

Seriously about the route though, let me know if you want to try to meet up in Bastrop or somewhere along the way. Not sure when I'll be heading out. If I don't get this %$##!'in CV joint off the axle that I'm trying to replace the boot on, I'll be enjoying the thrills of a Nissan Altima all weekend. Will probably try to find a shop with a press Monday. If they break the joint, then I've got another issue...

Don:
Whoop!

Yikes on the CV joint, anything I can do to help? I am not clear on whether I go Friday or Saturday so let's finalize in a few days. Slim in Katy can tag along, I'll bring something maroon so he will fit in.

Right after I typed that, I went back out to the garage, put a big breaker bar on the 3 arm gear puller, cranked it tighter than before, and pounded with a mini-sledge some more, and it finally broke lose.

So empowered by my success, I tore into the other shaft that didn't have a torn boot, tried the same approach and heard a snap. One of the internal bearing peices cracked in half under the pressure. Probably not a bad thing though since it looks worn and in need of replacement anyway. I'll try to find it locally tomorrow.

Check back with you later in the week...

928sRus supplied rear brake Xdrilled rotors and brake pads/ sensors replaced today. After further inspection, front's can wait until I get back. Fog lights need attention and door stops/ window guide replacement needs to be finished.

I'm a little closer to Marble Falls.....

Don, I'll try and get to Rogers in the morning and get one of the axles I've been meaning to get rebuilt and get it done tomorrow. If I can, then I will send you the entire thing to install, and figure the rest out later.

Sean,

Thanks, but don't go to any trouble yet, I'm hoping I can find the bearing cage locally today then I should have plenty of time to get it all back together. I'll let you (and Roger) know if I strike out.

Last Call, leaving KC @ 4:00 AM Friday headed down the I-35 speedway. If way one wants to tag along or needs a ride, let me know. I'm bringing a case of Boulevard pale ale for those who may want an adult beverage from Missouri's largest US owned brewery. Just say, No Bud.

Side note, has anyone heard from Randy Carter and the white GTS?

Talked to him last week, he is getting some stuff done on the blue GTS so it can make it, unsure if he will have time to get the supercharged one sorted enough for it to be driven.
