It's 1250 miles to the Hampton Inn for us from Vegas. I don't know where we will stop. I'll ask Dan tomorrow at Sharktoberfest.

I can definately relate to Chuck's comments...I was really excited about this year's event and all the folks coming in from other states, but then work took me out of the country for nearly 3 weeks (got back yesterday), so I'm now trying to decide how big of a smuck I'd be if I left the family again to attend....

Jim,
Definately understand it can be a fun family event, but just never worked out that way for us. My wife gets motion sickness very quickly in the hill country at anything over posted speeds, and the kids are getting a bit large for a 3-4 hour trip in the back seat, so that would mean 2 cars, etc.... So usually works out that I go solo. I'm thinking after being home for a couple of weeks, the family will be ready for me to leave again :-)

James could sweeten the pot a bit by saying there would be some calendar girls and a camera at his place

James,
Thanks for the invite, it has been a while for me, so I may be due for a swing by on the return trip. You'll have to PM your address some time before the event. Get your ladder ready and we'll stress test your roof again!

You know we had our calendar release party tonight and I had a LOT of models excited by the possibility to shooting some more... We just might be able to work that out... I could have four guys on cameras here and we could have four location set ups and we could really run some cars through I think... That might be fun!!!
For those of you going to 3rd Coast and thinking about making the 35ish mile trip to the East to see me let me know if that is something that would be of interest to you...
