It's 1250 miles to the Hampton Inn for us from Vegas. I don't know where we will stop. I'll ask Dan tomorrow at Sharktoberfest.

I can definately relate to Chuck's comments...I was really excited about this year's event and all the folks coming in from other states, but then work took me out of the country for nearly 3 weeks (got back yesterday), so I'm now trying to decide how big of a smuck I'd be if I left the family again to attend....

Don, as you know this is really planned as a family event. Dinner and social GTG on Friday night, drive on Sat. (If the family doesn't want to come there is shopping and sight seeing in Marble Falls or they can go to the wine tour only, the guys in the 928's will meet them there.) Dinner again on Sat. with some prizes awarded, then Sunday the show and shine with barbaque in the park and more prizes.

Hope to see you there!

Jim,

Definately understand it can be a fun family event, but just never worked out that way for us. My wife gets motion sickness very quickly in the hill country at anything over posted speeds, and the kids are getting a bit large for a 3-4 hour trip in the back seat, so that would mean 2 cars, etc.... So usually works out that I go solo. I'm thinking after being home for a couple of weeks, the family will be ready for me to leave again :-)

Great minds think alike, I was thinking that but was hesitant to say it. I've never met your wife or family, but even if they did come in a 2nd car it still could be enjoyable for them. Anyhow, my intent was to let you know we want to see you there!

James could sweeten the pot a bit by saying there would be some calendar girls and a camera at his place

James,

Thanks for the invite, it has been a while for me, so I may be due for a swing by on the return trip. You'll have to PM your address some time before the event. Get your ladder ready and we'll stress test your roof again!

You know we had our calendar release party tonight and I had a LOT of models excited by the possibility to shooting some more... We just might be able to work that out... I could have four guys on cameras here and we could have four location set ups and we could really run some cars through I think... That might be fun!!!

For those of you going to 3rd Coast and thinking about making the 35ish mile trip to the East to see me let me know if that is something that would be of interest to you...

Getting close now - Remember there will be lots of door prizes on Sunday at the BBQ.
The Star Prize fot the Third Coast 10th Anniversary GTG is a 928 Watch number 100/100 and currently a $750 watch and a very special not to be repeated Limited Edition. Presented by 928sRus.
To qualify for the drawing for the watch you will need to be a driver of a 928 and be in attendance on Friday or Saturday. Each 928 driver (only one driver per 928) will be given a ticket for the drawing during Friday or Saturday. To win the prize you must be present at the drawing at the BBQ on Sunday.
If your ticket is drawn on Sunday and you are not present your ticket will be void and the next ticket will be drawn until a winner is chosen. Tickets for the door prizes on Sunday will be handed out at the BBQ.

Special prizes will also be awarded at the dinner on Saturday night.

The Sunday "Show and Shine" will be a peoples choice.

We will have a "Poker Run" on Saturday during the tour. We will split the tour in to two groups.
The Wine Tour is looking very exciting, We have some awesome wines in Texas - I know I have tried most of them 8>).

This is going to be an awesome 10th Anniversary party.

Be there or be square!!!!!!!!!!!!
