The thing is that I have to pick it up from the shop in Raleigh on Saturday, and drive back to Virginia Beach which will blow most of the day.

I'm up for scenic. Otherwise, we'd need to be well past Quanitco at 4PM to survive. I was thinkin' we'd be pulling into the hotel lot at 4PM... just in time for happy hour. So that's a 2PM departure from the BK at the Kings Dominion exit.

My parents have a lakehouse on Lake Gaston, and we keep the car down there most of the time, so it's faster to go to Raleigh and get it serviced. Right now it is being worked on by Brad Moyer at Digital Chasis.

If you're headed north on 95 and want a helluva drive, get off at quantico and take 619 west. You'll hit bristow rd (still 619) right near my house, take a left to 28, take a right, then take 234 to 66.

Then follow signs to the airport, getting off on 28 and heading north.

619 runs between quantico and prince william park. There are few cross streets, if any. Watch the blind corners and rises for skidmarks into the trees. Kevin and I did this route once (I've done it a lot) and it's awesome.

I'll be up with the wife after work, hope about 6:30. I'm in a meeting at work now!!
