I feel for you, had a BMW back into my '82 today Thankfully it was very low speed and not much damage was done. Kid said he didn't see me

They made an offer with a couple of options. They would give me the car and $5600 or $7900 total. I suggested they give me $8500 and they then requested I fax them my receipts from SC's time with Sean back in March. We'll see.

hmmmm, $5600 and your car, is just enough to buy mine. Grab it!

Seriously, I think anything over $8k is a decent result, despite all the work put into it. That's good money for a 82. heck, I might even want to grab it up from you and try to rebuild it. You could work out both ways.

$8500 would be good money in my book.

I got my settlement today! For the record they gave me $8,350.
Now the search begins!

That is AWESOME! Congrats Bri! You will be able to get a MUCH, MUCH nicer car than SC and STILL have money in the bank to take care of the unexpected things that come up!

That's good money on your car.
I hope your next one works great for you.
Have fun looking and take your time.

Brian,
Talk to Roger. He may have a car or 2 for sale. He had a few in storage right now.
An 86 or 86.5 Red/Black if I remember correctly.
