Default murph vs 928spec

Thanks Andrew! A couple of related questions (pardon my ignorance on this topic). 1) Do both of these products require special "tuning?" 2) Can the average guy who knows how to change plugs and wires install/tune these units? 3) Are there differences in how each of these products need to be maintained? 4) Is there a "life" on these products?

Thanks,

Frank

Have fun with your project, it will be a lot of fun. I am sure Tim has provided all the tuning stuff for you to make this a turn key project.

As far as plugs go, on my 85 I am using WR5DC's and no issues.

WOW...! Thanks a crapton! The baseline Dyno, absolutely. The spark plugs, absolutely. I have total faith in Tim's kit, he's been very available with lots of info. I looked at all the kits and possibilities. I even looked at turbo's. I love the Specialists kit, it is so clean and HOT looking, I can't get one until this fall!?! You can't argue with the numbers, there's no other provider who has as many cars going. There's just no one else who has as many successful examples on the road. Look at everyone posting... a bunch are MURPHED! I'll let you know if there's a problem. This site is a great litmus test, if it doesn't work you'll know. I have a high confidence level, money talks and Tim's got mine!!!! thanks, Brian (p.s. I've got a Sharktuner ST1)
