Not sure what Porsche states but from experience the method discussed works and works well..............you need a quiet stretch of highway and a nose peg.........they get 'smokin' hot'.

Looks awesome, Chuck! You are quite the perfectionist, and your attention to detail truly shows. Glad it's all coming together for you at long last.

Chuck...as you know, Loren is the best at painting! He rocks! He's stripping my 87 project car down and will be doing a complete repaint with all new seals and trim! BTW..as others have said.."you've got a beautiful car!"

Thanks Jarrod. Coming from you (also a perfectionist....) that is a great compliment.

Thanks for the link. I went out and bedded the pads last night late. Figured it was better than trying to do it during rush hour on my way to Eurowerks this morning....

Thanks.

Loren is a great guy to boot. He loaned me his 7 series so I wouldn't have to hang out and wait for my car today....

Hey Chuck, I haven't met you but I think you may have left a PCA card with the words "Nice Car" Chuck" under my wiper on my red 85 that was parked in the CIC parking lot off HArris Blvd probably 7-8 years a go. Might that have been you?

My first impression is they are a little softer than I thought they were going to be..... based on some comments I read here about rattling your teeth. Not even close. I guess I'm used to the CLK63 Black Series... now that car WILL rattle your teeth. I'm remembering my old 93 GTS with sport suspension and Eibachs as being stiffer than this setup. I'm not unhappy, just expecting it to be a little harsher ride.

60-10 ten times cool down and repeat late last night. Today they bite nicely.

Yup, that was me. My wife works at Wells (Wachovia then) and she used to be out at CIC. Very nice car as I recall.

Cool! Jim did my aligment and after when he test drove it said he didn't think it needed to be bled again. I did it last night and it appears my first ever brake bleed was successful!!!! Yea me!

Update for today, June 3rd - alignment as noted above, flares professionally finished by Import Paint and Body and they are absolutely stunning!!!!! Rear quarter window retinted (didn't like the tint around one of the factory stickers.... - I know - I'm really sick!!! ), front 19s installed and car washed!!!!

I know it's so unlike me but I didn't get any pics...... Just as I was about done drying the car off it started to rain (again....) so I quick pulled it back in the garage. I'll get some tomorrow when I finish cleaning it.
