Okay I tend to say "thats not worth it" regarding high priced 928's.....BUT THIS ONE IS...stunning....I have always liked THIS 928 since I found it on the registry..... I like to call it the FBI car since a former agent owned it...the color combo is stunning....I would love to own it one day!!! Unfortunately thats NOT gonna happen anytime soon :>(

.....most people who don't sell a cars very often seem to think the car should sell on the first auction or there is a problem with the car itself. It's not just here but most online forums. B/c of the way your post was pharsed it appeared you were saying the same thing....
Now go take your memory pills....
BTW, it was rumored this car has had paint work and I do think the interior color will hurt this one as it doesn't match very well. On the positive side, it does have the quite rare phone option..... There are only 30 1995 5-speed GTSs in spite of what the seller says so rarity is on its side.

Sorry that I didn't say I understand that it takes a lot of time to find the right person to purchase a car regardless of venue. There is nothing wrong with multiple advertisements especially with the economics of today.
I just put it up for consideration of fellow 928's for their consideration. My uncertainty as to if this was a topic before was my need for the M pills.
BTW is this your car ?

No, this is not my car. Mine has fewer miles and classic grey interior.

With the low mileage, and having passed through Willhoit's service and detail, I don't think I even have a clue how this car might be appropriately inspected. A normal PPI I would expect to show no issues of any kind, maybe consult a psychic? I'd love to watch somebody like Greg do an inspection, put the hard eye to the fine points.
I do hope it finds a good home where its kept nice as well as driven and enjoyed.

The 997 TT is a great car but has nothing on the feel of a GTS. Totally different cars. If what you want is a fast Porsche for cheap buy a used 996 GT2 much stiffer platform and can be made to be much faster than a 997TT for a lot less $$. IMO the 928 is worth more than just its performance which is not bad even by today's standards.

Didn't I read that the next-generation 911 is "lower-longer-wider" ... so is the new 928 an overgrown 911?
Seems like Porsche is clearing out room for a smaller, lower-priced 'roadster', perhaps priced below Boxster/Cayman ... so the mid-engine cars can move up in price?

You just can't resist can you Dan???
I'd say 1 of 30 1995 928 GTS 5-speeds and one with just 19k miles makes it pretty rare........ well you might think that unless you're laying bait in a thread about a 5-speed 1995 GTS with 19k miles. OTOH, a supercharged 928 of any year b/c it is no longer original is not a very desirable commodity...... Don't believe me? Try to sell your well sorted SC 928 even for what you have in mods - chances are pretty good you couldn't... At least the GTS could be resold for what it was bought for.....

You're right Chuck, it would be difficult to sell. You know why? Because too many people in the world are dumb like that guy in the picture you posted. It's great for me . I'm not baiting anything, I am commenting on the value of that GTS. You could get four nice reliable '87+ 928's that put down 400hp to the wheels for the price of that GTS. There is a sucker born every minute...

You know of course that the late 5-speeds DO regularly sell for that kind of money or more?
You are consistent on this subject.
At least you got half right.....
