Lug Nut Recommendations?
It's getting to be that time of year again...nice enough to put on my summer wheels, and I can't bear to keep using the same old lug nuts. I need to get a new set...but it's hard to tell what's a good set and what isn't.
I was looking at this set: http://www.tulipcitywheels.com/tcwst..._detail&p=1365, mainly because the $80 price sounds pretty nice. It looks like if I get them from Pelican Parts I'll be spending a little over $100, which is still pretty reasonable.
So, where does everybody else get their lug nuts?
Thanks

Casey what is wrong with your old nuts ? If you just do not like how they LOOK , spray paint them ! Morrison has been doing that for years......last I heard they were Blue !

Sanding them and then painting them would probably fix my problems, but these lug nuts are almost 30 years old; I figure I'm gonna have to get a new set at some point.

The chrome set would look good w/ the chrome cover's you have but that may be a bad idea since I've heard the saying...
Something about "sucking the chrome off a trailer hitch"

I bought a nice used set from 928Intl, and a new set from Vertex, but for some reason have not used them, perhaps due to Al instead of Mg. Eventually I plan to pick up a set of open, see the threads, steel for track use.
Vertex does sell a nice soft inside lug socket.

I bought a chromed steel set on ebay. Unless someone can point out a good reason why this was a bad idea, I have had the wheels off and on several times and am thoroughly satisfied with the look, performance and 2 pound weight gain.

Thanks for some of the ideas guys.
Do keep in mind though that my summer wheels are Carrera IIIs. My current lug nuts definitely don't do them justice haha.
