Well, the radiator company claims they are now working on this radiator....months later.

Tough to figure out how to get people to do things. The company's owner complains about how slow things are...he does a lot of work for the off-road truck world. I order 20 radiators, months ago, and he can't get them done. Go figure.

Anyway, we checked again this week, and he claims they are now working on them...we will see. I'm not holding my breath.

No I think it mostly has nothing to do with that on an S4+.

My oil thermostat has been changed (thought it may be stuck closed), cooler was flushed (thought it may be clogged) and pressure bypass changed - none made a jot of a difference. It does cool OK when the car is running at speed (drop to idle in neutral shows this to be the case)

Its just that there is no airflow when the vehicle isn't moving and the fans don't help flow much in that area...

I have recently added the rad side tank Oil/Water cooler option (after the Oil/Air cooler) to my 928 International radiator and so far so good - however the super hot temperatures have departed for now so its not the best time to test it fully - but I'm optimistic.

I do think from an oil flow perspective - its likely still OK - the oil has very low viscosity due to the heat and so pumps very freely - however at these temps it may also be breaking down which may create a much bigger problem and perhaps it also more easily entrains...
