Temps were below the middle of the range. At one point in the race, the fan actually turned off. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
oil temp was 230 to 240F. remember, i only use one cooling fan of the 2 available. I used the 2nd during the hot days to keep things cool. even in the worst conditions, temps dont get much over the middle of the scale. stock radiator, stock radiator oil cooler.

oil pressure just below the 5 bar mark, even in the heat of the battle. never below 4.5, and that was the lowest it got anywhere on the track.

That engine sounds terrific, Mark. What was the little wave you did after coming off the rumble strip on turn eight, second lap. Was that to remind yourself of something when you watched the tape later?

Good work Mark .. I've been waiting for that too! Motor sounds strong. Get the aero stuff back on, better rubber, less weight, a bit more detail sorting. Maybe looking good to beat your previous best times seeing you're not really all that far from them, all things considered? How does the stiffness of the chassis/cage compare?

Did you see the little spin out of the cars in back, after the start at turn 1?
Also, no oil burning, maybe used 1/3 of a quart, and no smoke out the rear anywhere on the track.
all shifts near 6000-6600rpm
No spacer, no baffle, no overflows, etc. The stock stuff works great with some minor tweeks.

Mark Awesome Job. That looks like to much fun. I like the sleeper look. Nothing like getting under the competitions skin with and old Porsche that isn't all pretty then sowing them what time it is!

For sure the cross drilled crank helps with oiling...but it will not stop the oil starvation problem...so the gauge should still register drops..... It will be interesting to see how the Widow holds oil pressure compared to lemons or your racer
I wonder if the length of race effects the oil pressure loss problem...it makes sense that a sprint race has less time to loose-consume oil and plenty of time to check-replace it, in between races.....so that has to be a consideration....the 1st engine in lemons was 3 quarts down after 2 hours.....typical was 1 qt per hour on track...& of course it didn't last long either..
No matter how to explain or not explain it.....MK's stroker continues to be trouble free on track......

Notice how the wheel and tire is much more stable than the holbert car was? (in the side cam video) I wonder what that is due to? the car felt real solid. Now, its ready to go. all the bolt on goes on this weekend and splitter design starts to get put into cardboard.
hood to be vented as well. I wonder what shape I should use for that. the old trapizoid didnt look that bad with a screen behind it.
