I like both the green and the orange. Does this car have S4 brakes? If so, it would look great if the calipers were the same green as the car.
When are you planning to shoot the paint? Where are you planning to shoot it? Do you have access to a booth?

NO...stock 1980 brakes for now.

No booth. Will be building a plastic booth under the carport cover. I have a large fan and filters.

I LOVE that green! VERY NICE! Can't wait to see the car in that color. Also agree the calipers (no matter which ones you have on the car) would look GREAT matching or even in a contrast color like bright blue or more likely bright yellow... Matching with polished big (18") wheels would be SPECTACULAR!!! Black or tan (or better yet, black AND tan) interior would be perfect w/ that exterior as well!

He went with the Synergy Green on the 2011 Camaro. No going back now. Paint is bought and in hand. I hope to have some of it jambed this weekend.

Paint booth done. Its REAL homemade. With the fan on I get negative pressure inside....but I hope not too much. Enclosed area is about 20 X 20 X 8 so about 3200 cubic feet. I have 4 of the largest AC filters I could find. I wonder if I need more?

You don't need that large a fan - but the size may be OK if the speed is correct. That is plenty of filter area. Keep in mind the paint will be pulled over a motor which is not rated for a combustible environment. My system is routed around the perimeter to avoid hard drafts, but the actual draft at the gun probably won't be that great if you run the fan at a reasonable speed. One set of 3M mask filters may only last one job - shave and make sure the mask fits. To be honest I don't let my kid in the booth when I paint.

I don't mean to be a *****. You've done way more than I could have. But perhaps postive pressure would be better. Everything is forced OUT by pressure rather than using your 'whiteroom' fan as a vaccuum , sucking dust in from the spaces and cracks and filtering it to the outside.

Dean Simply an amazing attention to detail. You are amazing. I was detailed in my prep work but by the end I just wanted to get her painted. I quess it being my DD and having my wife on my *** didn't help but you have done a amazing job! Hat's off to you!
