I really like this one for some reason, I love the view of the GTS rear quarters in the right side rear view mirror, strange.

This will be thirty out of a bunch, enough for tonight.
I can not say how great a road this is, it is made for cars like we have.
There was nobody there except for some bikers and they always get out of the way when they see a 928 with the headlamps coming up and flashing.

There is nothing there but a couple of overlooks and road, no gas stations, just trees, rivers, cliffs and road.

Hammer down!

Hard to keep eyes on the road at places like this.

Just a few more so I can remember where I stopped.

Next up is the Corvettes at Alcoa.
They came to run the Dragon, quite a few of them at the hotel.

Well then...I'm hoping expecting to see a decent spike in 928 shots on the Rennlist homepage in coming mnoths! Some great content from various folks, a 'best of' would be pretty amazing....perhaps ALCON would give permissions to 928 Sp to select shots for a calendar, should they chose to do so? Just a thought.

I was trying to run a script last night to download every photo in the thread. My plan was to package them all up in one ZIP file so anyone could easily download the collection.

About 20 minutes after starting, Rennlist crashed. I'm not sure if I should try again

Nice shot, Greg. Great choice in travel partners.

Good eye.
Coors Original.
Reminds me of the good ol' days.

In the remake, Greg could play the Bandit and the 928 could definitely be an upgrade to the trans am.

He is going to need a leading lady, though. Maybe something like Bimmermike's avatar?

Ya just never know when you may have to wait for a tow truck, always carry refreshments and have some Refreshments to listen to.

Once again, many thanks to Dave, Jeannie and Thor. The event couldn't have been better. Beech Mountain, Oz, the convoy down the mountain, dinner at the hotel, it was all planned out very well.

Hans and Paul's console is going to be a must have. Wow, just wow.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to say good bye to a lot of you. Ann and I slipped out early Sunday to go down to Atlanta and spend a few days with her brother. We'll be back next year, reservations already made, see you there.

Oh yeah, I did appreciate all the compliments, help and suggestions from those who offered it.

Below are a few picks from our trip, seems I/we got a lot of shots of the pavement, hood, sunroof and God knows what. I'll spare you those.

Hah, that is the same response I gave! Seriously, after a recent drive in a 964 I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

I do suspect that some of my 911 comments at SITM pissed a bunch of people off, oh well.
