I had a radiator shop make me a separator/oil filler. Nothing but vapor at the end of the tube after hundreds of WOT street and dyno runs to ~6700 rpm (logging my chips).
No leaks at the cover. So strange to see no oil under (or in) the intake.

BTW, I don't have any lids left.
Well, one, but that's going on my new-to-me '86.5 race car, B.
I'm going to try using a racing vacuum pump to pull from the separator, using the cam cover ports (both sides) as air intakes. I'm hoping this will pull oil down into the sump under racing conditions.

Do you have a pump picked out yet?

FYI - the price for a run of (10) should be about the same as last time - $64 including US shipping.
I hadn't thought about the filter, yet.
When I looked at vac pumps (honestly, it's not mine) before, I was looking at getting one from here - http://www.gzmotorsports.com/
I was thinking about using simple big ball bearing valve(s) to close the cam cover ports on the inside corner bank.

Why do you need one? I put the oil diverter thingy in and it hasn't leaked since. Just curious.

I want one 'just in case', so I'll order some after SF11.
