Default Garage clean out - OEM 928 cove,r Kempf tool kit, window switches, etc...

Hello All,

Ahh! I deleted the text of this post somehow, and had to re type it all.

I was cleaning out the garage and have listed some 928 "stuff" on ebay.

In accordance with rennlist rules, all these items have a buy it now price.

Porsche 928 S4 GT GTS factory car cover "OEM accessory". start $100 - BIN $150

EBAY LINK - 928 COVER

Kempf timing belt tool kit (with fly wheel lock) SOLD

EBAY LINK - KEMPF TOOL KIT

1 "new in the bag" Bosch fuel injector (fits S4, mabe other?) SOLD

928 engine oil pan gasket. Heavy rubber re-usable type. SOLD

GTS air intake tubes. Kind of rough. One is 7/10, the other 5/10 condition. $25 + shipping.

2 "new in the bag" 928 window switches. I never got the chance to install them. SOLD

New air line kit for the S4 (maybe others). Never installed. These were sold by a rennlister a few years ago, but I forget who? SOLD

I have to go through a few more boxes to see if there is anything else worth while, or that I would part with.

Cheers,
Michael

I'll take the window switches and pan gasket if you'll sell them off eBay.

Thanks, might as well throw in the injector too. As long as I have a spare, I'm sure I'll never need it. Well, that's the way it usually works anyway.

I'll take the GTS air tubes if shipping to Austin, TX USA 78704 isn't prohibitively expensive ...

That is the Mark Robinson vacuum line kit and the rubber elbows are not heat tolerant. After a few hundred miles, the underhood temps will crack and break them. I have the same lines and had to go in and swap all the rubber about six months after installing.

Roger sells better replacement rubber boots as a kit to fix this.

Glenn - watch out for the connectors on the air line kit. I believe that was a Mark Robinson kit, which routed more efficiently than the stock kit - good set up (I put it in my prior shark), but the connectors had a habit of dry rotting in a season or two. I did a search but can't find the old thread, so maybe someone else will chime in.

They do... I have the that same kit but found out about the connector problem a while back. I've ordered new connectors from DR, but Roger has them too. Several listers have had to re-do their intakes...and that's not a lot of fun.

If the window switches, vac. lines and injector remain available I'll take them.
