Dwayne if you replace the oil pump gear with the steel unit. you also remove the 1mm spacer behind the aluminum pulley and then the steel pulley is installed without the spacer, as has been noted the crank drive gear should probably be replaced as well

For what it's worth the pulley set I have is all four pullies. I may have a new square tooth belt too. It would drop right in there.

Some interesting information for you on the later style Porsche TB.
Gates is the current OEM for the TB to Porsche. The Porsche belts are made on the same roller (tool) as the Gates OEM. The only difference is the printing.
I commisioned Gates to make the stronger "racing TB" earlier this year. It will be made on the same roller. As some of you know we are still waiting for the racing timing belt.

The roller was moved from Germany to Scotland by Gates for some reason - I forget.
It is now in Scotland - Dumfries - and being recommisioned for production.
The Gates belt is out of stock at most wholesalers because the tool is not available as yet.
Luckily Porsche has some in stock - currently 7 in Atlanta and 225 in Germany.

It can and does happen to oil pump gears, too...

Same for crank gears...
