dont even need to do that. just pull the connector and apply 12v with alagator clips to the two terminals in the connector. one way goes up, the other goes down. very easy.

VIN and a registry link might help, but Flood title has to have more of a long term ding to resale than Salvage title, something like a $4k reduction.
I'm 100% for saving it, just sayin as it sits $10.5k seems a bit generous to pay for it. Do they know about the half price sale at 928Intl?

^^^^ Yep, the reclaim value of a 1990 Porsche(they don't know nor care about the trans) was likely about $4k-ish. The insured got his check for market of about $15k so that's pretty close.
Meh, maybe I'll go down to $7k, they can still make a few thou and we'll save the car. Argh, it's still black, every time I check the color.....

i got a friend going over to look at it and buy it in the morning... i tend to seriously doubt that there's any damage whatsoever to this engine save for the computer.

Pretty sure you're right. There is no evidence of the water in the floors so I think this is gonna turn out to be an insurance deal. Let me know if you grab it up, if not mebee it'll go to TX.
