Default Rear H&R springs and bilsteins issue

I assembled my H&R springs and bilsteins for the rear and everything went well except for the top spring perch. The stock upper perch doesn't fit and is too large. The lower perch supplied by bilstein is fine.

You need to run shock cones.

Any ricer shop can get those for you.

ATB, can you shoot me a pic of the orientation of the cone in relation to the spring. Thanks

You would need to cut out the stock upper perch (if I recall it is part of the top mount) unless it can be separated somehow, or you could leave the stock perch in place and fit the cone below it and just lower the bottom adjuster to the correct ride height.
What weight are your springs? They look like they're progressive wound?

i remember when I first built the eibachs with the bilstiens, the 928 intl trick was to get a set of rear purches and put them on the front or visa versa. the stock purch would not work that sounds like what you have going on here. Or, maybe im confusing the build I did. I also remember, using my old stock front springs, in the rear, so thats probably why I needed front purches in the rear.

I ended up having bilstein ship me two more of the lower mounts in the bottom picture and welded them to the upper more round perch. Worked great.

What H&R springs are those?

They just fit in the rear? What about the front?
