What is the Going Rate for a 4.7 Euro M/28/9,11,12 CIS motor?

if you go to buy a motor thats allready out of a car make sure the tabs for the lower accessories aren't broken off from an accident i bought 79 4.5 off evil bay for 79 bucks canadian came complete with lower crossmember and good steering rack ended up buying more parts off the guy when i got there that was the catch though i had to pic it up in quebec 12 hr drive one way was a fun road trip thats the pic in my avitar good luck in your project

Karl is right, the early motor is fun and simple, and won't get you into nearly as much trouble as a Euro S will, but Michael has a Euro car with no L or LH wiring, so he kinda needs to stick with a CIS motor.
Nice Spare, but is it a Euro S, thinking no from the damper.
"Fully functional" and Euro S was what I disagreed with, and runs well but needs TB and WP, or a new WUR, etc. doesn't count. Part of the reason I am so gungho for the hybrid motors is that I am starting to believe that 100% of the old motors need the heads off and new valve guides and head gaskets.

Actually, the 1980 is completely wired for L-Jet, down to the brain. Go figure. Obviously, the 1978 I picked up is all K-Jet.
